Is a board-certified General Surgeon with a fellowship in Bariatric Metabolic Surgery & Advance Laparoscopy. She graduated with honors from Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo in 2008 and embarked on her surgery residency to Argentina National University.
Dr. Nibelka Tejeda also completed her training in Laparoscopy and Invasive Surgery at the Argentina Special and Advanced Training Center. Where she has been endorsed by the Argentinean National University and certified in Bariatric Endoscopy from Institute Endovitta in Sao Paulo, Brasil.
She is a member of several professional societies including the Argentine Society of Surgery, the Dominican College of Surgeons and is an outstanding member of the Latin American Federation of Obesity.
